This cocktail is like a winter wonderland in a glass, with a creamy, sweet flavor and a festive rim of coconut and sparkling sugar. It's quick to make and perfect for holiday parties or a cozy night in.
The combination of white chocolate liqueur and rum creates a smooth, dessert-like drink, while the heavy cream adds richness. The rim decoration makes it look as good as it tastes.
Method
- In a flat, shallow bowl, mix together the shredded coconut and sanding sugar.
- Rub the lemon wedge around the rim of a martini glass to moisten it. Then dip the rim into the coconut-sugar mixture until evenly coated.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the white chocolate liqueur, Captain Morgan, and heavy cream. Add the ice cubes, cover, and shake vigorously until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Serve immediately. For more servings, simply double or triple the ingredients.
💡 Tips
- For a dairy-free version, use creamy coconut milk instead of heavy cream.
- Chill the martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes before preparing for an extra frosty effect.
- If you don't have a cocktail shaker, you can use a jar with a tight lid.
