These cheeseburger wraps are a fun and easy twist on the classic burger, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. The beef is cooked until nicely browned, then topped with cheddar cheese that melts into a creamy layer.
The homemade burger sauce, made with pickles, onion, mayo, and ketchup, adds a tangy kick that ties everything together. Rolled up in Arabic flatbread, these wraps are great for on-the-go meals or casual gatherings.

Method
- Heat a large nonstick skillet with a lid over high heat until very hot. Add the olive oil and crumble the ground beef into the pan in pieces. Cook for about 30 seconds without stirring, until the bottom is browned.
- Flip the beef pieces with a spatula, break them apart, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2–3 minutes without stirring, until the other side is browned and the beef is fully cooked and dry.
- Stir in the mustard. Lay the cheddar slices over the beef, covering it completely. Add the water, cover the skillet with the lid, remove from heat, and let sit until the cheese melts.
- Finely chop the pickles and the onion. In a bowl, combine the chopped pickles and onion with mayonnaise, ketchup, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth. Set the burger sauce aside.
- Wash and finely chop the parsley. Set aside.
- Lay the Arabic flatbreads on a work surface, side by side. Spread the burger sauce evenly over each flatbread. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and freshly ground pepper.
- Stir the beef mixture to distribute the melted cheese evenly. Spoon the beef filling lengthwise down the center of each flatbread.
- Fold the two short edges of each flatbread inward over the filling. Then roll tightly into a log. Cut each roll in half crosswise and serve immediately.
💡 Tips
- For extra flavor, use a mix of ground beef and ground pork.
- If you don't have a lid, cover the skillet with a baking sheet or foil to trap the steam.
- These wraps are best served warm; you can reheat them in a dry skillet if needed.
