Ingredients
Converted amounts are rounded.
Method
- If using, rub the lemon wedge around the rim of a cocktail glass. Pour some sugar onto a plate and dip the rim into the sugar to coat it.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the cognac, lemon juice, and triple sec. Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until the outside is very cold, about 20 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with the lemon peel and serve immediately.
💡 Tips
- Chill the glass beforehand for a colder drink.
- Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust the sugar rim to taste—skip it if you prefer a tarter cocktail.
