This smoothie is the perfect way to start your day with a boost of fruits, greens, and healthy fats. The base is simple: milk plus a banana or yogurt for creaminess, then you pile on frozen fruit and any extras you have on hand.
Feel free to mix and match the add-ins—nut butter, seeds, oats, protein powder, or a handful of spinach—to suit your taste and what you have in your pantry. The result is a thick, satisfying drink that keeps you full until lunch.

Converted amounts are rounded.
Method
- Add the almond milk to the blender first. Then add the banana (or yogurt), followed by the frozen fruit and any add-ins you are using (spinach, nut butter, seeds, oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and sweetener if desired).
- Start blending on low speed, then gradually increase to high. Blend until completely smooth, adding a little more milk if the mixture is too thick.
- Pour the smoothie into a large glass (or two smaller ones). Garnish with fresh fruit, seeds, or a sprinkle of cinnamon if you like, and serve immediately.
💡 Tips
- For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana and frozen fruit; for a thinner one, add more milk.
- If you don't have a frozen banana, use fresh banana and add a few ice cubes.
- You can prep smoothie packs by portioning fruit and add-ins into freezer bags, then just add milk and blend.
