This vibrant cocktail offers a taste of the tropics with its blend of pineapple, orange, and coconut, all brought together by a duo of rich Jamaican and aged rums.
While it shares a similar profile with a well-known classic, this version stands on its own as a delightful and easy-to-make tropical escape in a glass.
Ingredients
Converted amounts are rounded.
Method
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the pineapple juice, orange juice, coconut cream, and both types of rum.
- Fill the shaker with crushed ice.
- Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 10 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels well-chilled.
- Pour the mixture, unstrained, into a tall glass or tiki mug filled with fresh crushed ice. Sprinkle the top with ground cinnamon and nutmeg, and garnish with an orange wheel, pineapple spear, and cinnamon stick.
💡 Tips
- For an extra frosty drink, chill your glass in the freezer beforehand.
- If you don't have crushed ice, you can pulse cubes in a blender or place them in a clean towel and crush with a rolling pin.
