White sangria is a lighter, fruitier twist on the classic Spanish drink. It's made with dry white wine, a mix of citrus and berries, and a splash of brandy and triple sec for extra depth.
The best part? You can prep it ahead of time—just chill it for at least 4 hours (or overnight) so the flavors meld beautifully. Serve it over ice with a splash of Prosecco for a festive touch.
Ingredients
Converted amounts are rounded.
Method
- Cut the orange, lemon, and lime in half. Cut each half into two quarters, so you have 4 pieces per fruit. Squeeze the juice from each quarter into a large pitcher, then add the squeezed fruit pieces to the pitcher.
- Slice the remaining citrus halves into thin rounds and add them to the pitcher. Add the sliced peaches and berries.
- Add the brandy, triple sec, and sugar (if using). Use a wooden spoon to gently muddle the mixture, helping the sugar dissolve.
- Pour in the white wine and stir once more. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice. Give the sangria a good stir, then pour it over the ice. Top each glass with a splash of Prosecco or sparkling water, stir gently, and garnish with extra berries and mint if desired.
💡 Tips
- For a sweeter sangria, add a bit more sugar or use a slightly off-dry white wine.
- If using frozen fruit, there's no need to thaw it first—it will help keep the sangria cold.
- Muddle gently to avoid crushing the fruit too much; you want the flavors to meld without turning the drink cloudy.
